About KIME

A Legacy Built
Since 1969

Seigo-Kai Karate-Do was founded in 1969. For over five decades it has carried authentic Japanese Karate-Do across Asia. In 1994, Shihan Tarun Chakrabarty established the Delhi Academy of Martial Arts, beginning three decades of grassroots coaching that would produce 200+ black belts, 25+ international medalists, and the only Indian karateka ever to represent India at the Tokyo Olympics.

Programs

One Standard.
Every Doorstep.

Every KIME program is a live branch of the Seigo-Kai federation. Same instructors, same grading calendar, same pathway to the national and Asian ladder. What changes is the doorstep it arrives at.

For RWAs & Managing Committees

Residential Communities

Your society gets a dojo registered in its own name, not a rented slot in someone else's brand. Residents grade, compete and win as a recognised unit inside the federation, and every medal carries your society's colours. Two classes a week, batches from five-year-olds to seniors, and a clubhouse trophy cabinet that fills itself one grading cycle at a time.

For Principals & School Boards

Schools

The lineage behind KIME ran karate at Amity International School for over twenty-five years, from a single campus to branches nationwide. That experience, from timetable-friendly sessions to age-banded curricula and annual gradings parents attend with pride, is what your institution inherits on day one. Character education that shows up in classrooms, not just on mats.

For HR & CSR Leaders

Corporate Programs

Focus under pressure is a trainable skill, and Karate-Do has refined the training for a century. KIME corporate batches build composure, fitness and decisive thinking inside the workday. CSR-linked women's safety workshops let your organisation put its name on something residents of your city actually feel.

A Module of Its Own

Self-Defence

Taught separately from the sport curriculum, because the street is not a scoring mat. Scenario-based awareness, de-escalation, and practical escape and counter technique. All of it grounded in genuine Karate-Do fundamentals and coached by instructors trained in self-defence pedagogy.

For Women & Girls

Women's Self-Defence

Safety in commutes, public spaces and daily life remains one of the most pressing concerns for Indian households. A one-off external workshop does not answer it. KIME runs dedicated sessions for women and girls, woven into the regular training calendar, close to home, on a schedule you can rely on. Practical readiness, and the calm that comes with it.

Ages Five and Up

Children's Programs

First stances, first belts, first time standing a little taller. Children's batches build focus, courtesy and quiet confidence, and every session opens and closes with the meditation and mobility work classical Karate-Do is built on. Parents report the difference at homework time before they see it at grading time.

For Serious Athletes

Competitive Training

For students chasing podiums, the pathway is already paved: society dojo to state, state to national, national to the Asian and World Karate Federation ladder. One system, no separate route to hunt for. Coaching comes from champions and A-grade officials who judge the sport at Asia's highest level, with dedicated preparation before every grading and tournament cycle.
